Q: I have set the unit set up and plugged it in, however it is not heating up. Am I doing something wrong?

A: As an additional safety measure, the heating plate will only function when properly docked to the base. The temperature probe must align with the slotted cradle as shown in the illustration below. (Applies to AHG-2233)
