I bought this induction cooktop at Costco a year ago, in November 2012. I've been using it regurlarly since then and I find it to be very practical and energy saving.
However, it should be said that the glass cooktop does eventually get very hot from contact with the cooking pot or pan. This particular model has a plastic edge along the glass top on the side opposite from the control panel. On my cooktop, this plastic edge melted when I used a large pan and the pan was hanging over the plastic. Other Aroma induction cooktops do not have this issue, and I would recommend them over this one.
