Lively Honey Fried Chicken
This crispy chicken has a sweet-hot kick to it. A really fun dish that everyone enjoys.

1 (4 pound) whole chicken, cut into pieces 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon pepper 1/2 cup honey 4 drops hot pepper sauce 1 tablespoon garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper 1/2 teaspoon paprika 2 cups all-purpose flour Vegetable oil, for frying
Season chicken pieces with salt and pepper, mix honey and hot pepper sauce together in a small bowl, coat each seasoned chicken piece with honey mixture.
In a shallow dish or bowl, mix together the spices and flour. Dredge honey coated chicken pieces in flour mixture, coating completely. Heat oil in deep fat fryers to 365 and fry chicken a few pieces at a time for 10-12 minutes or until no longer pink and juices run clear. Remove and drain on paper towels, serve immediately.
Makes 4 servings.
