  • Q: How do I care for the nonstick coating?

    To prevent the nonstick coating of the wok from scratching, do not use metal utensils to cook or metal scouring pads or abrasive cleaners for cleaning.

  • Q: How do I clean my wok?

    Follow these steps:

    1. Move the temperature control to the 'Off' position and unplug the power cord immediately after cooking. Allow unit to cool completely before cleaning.
    2. Add 2 cups of warm, soapy water to the wok. Allow it to soak for a longer period of time if the food residue is sticky or difficult to remove.
    3. Clean with warm, soapy water. Clean thoroughly with a damp sponge or cloth.
    4. The lid can be immersed in water for cleaning. Always use a soft sponge or dishcloth to clean the lid.
    5. A film of white mineral residue may appear on the steam rack after steaming. The residue comes from using tap water for steam cooking. Use white vinegar and a damp cloth to clean it.
